To ensure the competition is as fair as possible, all students participating in the Awards must abide by the following rules:

• Students may enter the competition either as individuals or as a team. There are no limits to the number of students on a team however each business must be represented at the National finals by a maximum of 5 students.
• Students must undertake their work in the current academic year.
• Students must operate a real business.
• Students must submit 4 copies of their business report (following the required format and with a maximum of 20 single sided or 10 double sided pages) by the designated date.
• Each participating County and City Enterprise Board may nominate one entry per category to participate in the Student Enterprise Awards National Finals in April.
• Students are required to set up a display stand at the awards venue by the designated time.
• The judges’ decisions in all matters are final.
