According to the .IE Digital Health Index, 53% of Irish consumers want their local high-street shops to offer a full online ordering service,

while 77% of SMEs say their website contributes to their offline or ‘face-to-face’ sales.

Having a website for your business nowadays is crucial – for marketing, for generating sales leads and to make it easy for customers to find you! We are living in an increasingly digital world where more and more people are choosing to purchase online.

This is no different for Student Enterprises – a key area the judges will always look at is whether or not students go outside their ‘comfort zone’ when promoting and selling their product or service.

Selling inside your school and/or to family members is great, but the real challenge is to expand your sights beyond this and target a wider audience. This is where a lot of the learning about entrepreneurship this year takes place.

Creating a website for your business is one of the most effective and easiest way to do this.
