SEP National Final 2020 Cancelled Due to Corona Virus Restrictions

The Student Enterprise Programme

The Student Enterprise Programme, an initiative run by the Network of Local Enterprise Offices of Ireland, is Ireland’s largest and most successful student enterprise programme with over 26,000 second level students taking part each year.

Students from 1st year to 6th year get to set up and run their own business and find out what it’s really like to be an entrepreneur by taking part in this 8 month long enterprise education learning programme.

The Programme runs from September to May, and students get to do everything a real life entrepreneur would do from coming up with the business idea to marketing, sales and preparing a business plan.

At the end of the Programme in May, one student business from each region gets to compete at the National Final in Dublin for the ‘Student Enterprise of the Year’ award.

Our County Final stand, display & costumes- 'Cast Aways Clinic'. The judges would have been patients and received a full check up from our doctor, nurse and surgeon. Check our FB & Insta for full description of our stand & role play! @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland

Our finished product! It took 12 production steps to get to the finished product! Sales before school closures were really taken off! Orders still be taken! Check back in tomorrow to see what our County Final display would have looked like! @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland

🏐County Final Display🏐 Our stand consists of a GIANT styrofoam football boot, 2 wooden goal posts with recycled red onion bags as nets and our product. More details of our County Final setup, costumes and brand ambassador on our FB & Insta @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland

Our newly designed logo, including our slogan. We chose the name ‘Glúin & Glan’ because, we wanted to have an Irish name, to promote the Irish language. It translates as ‘Kneel & Clean’. Check our FB & Insta for the story behind our slogan! @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland

Some photos of the participants. Well done to all involved!

TB to when we first published our promotional video... Thanks to the @StudentEntProg for sharing it on their page, and really helping in getting it out there with hundreds of views! Because of this we have had loads of 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 and interest on our game. Thank you!

10) We measured the sizes for our 2 pouches - for empty & full doggie bags.
11) A 'Stitch-in-Time' in Tralee manufactured our zipped pouches from recycled material that we supplied to them.
12) Finally, we glued on our 2 pouches. @KerrySEP @StudentEntProg @PresCisland
